Get in losers, we're going adventuring
About ME
Travelling history teacher from Devon

Hi, I’m Laurie, and when I’m not at my day job as a Head of History, I spend my spare time being an explorer, storyteller, and your go-to guide for all things fun and adventurous. Whether I’m wandering through hidden gems, sharing travel tips, or just having a laugh along the way, my mission is to inspire you to live life to the fullest, especially if, like me, you are often travelling solo.
I am based (and grew up) in South Devon, and I love to share what my little corner of the county has to offer, in between day trips, staycations, road trips and more ambitious (and often extremely jam-packed) adventures.
Join me as I document my escapades, from epic hikes to quirky local finds. Expect a lot of humor, a dash of spontaneity, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
Be scared, be prepared, and do it anyway
My solo travel mantra
